Developmental Services

 

  • A goal oriented program in which life skills are developed and maintained.
  • Helps a person with a developmental disability live as independently as possible and maintain their quality of life.
  • Services can be provided in the person's home, their community, and in Witco program sites.

Assessment and Employment Services

 

  • Helps people with disabilities who have never worked or who because of their disability have had a difficult time finding and/or keeping a job.
  • Identifies a career goal in keeping with a person's interests and skills and helps them identify a path to employment.
  • Teaches an individual how to develop a resume, interview for a job, and develop the skills necessary to find a job.
  • Assists in finding employment.
  • Provides the supports necessary to ensure the job meets the expectations of the person served and the employer.
  • Support services are individualized and can be provided on or off the job site.

 

Vocational Services

 

  • Provides opportunities for people with disabilities to experience the world of work.
  • Allows a person to learn the work skills necessary to work in the community while earning wages.
  • Provides an opportunity to experience a variety of different types of work.

Residential Services

 

  • Provides residential services to adults with disabilities living in Oregon.
  • Services are provided in a warm, supportive home environment.
  • Teaches how to plan meals, manage money, access community services and businesses and participate more fully in the community.
